Position Overview

The primary objective of this position is to guarantee that the outlet consistently provides outstanding customer service while achieving the necessary profit margins and continuously enhancing revenue streams.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Being thoroughly knowledgeable about the amenities, services, and special offers available at the hotel, and effectively communicating this information to guests to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations, conducting stocktaking, and performing audits as required.
  • Guaranteeing that the team delivers exemplary hospitality to guests at all times, with food and beverage orders served promptly in line with hotel standards.
  • Providing support across various functions and shifts as necessary.
  • Assisting other food and beverage outlets during peak business periods, holidays, and staff absences.
  • Establishing and maintaining stringent security protocols within the department.
  • Ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet business demands (scheduling) and deploying staff efficiently to ensure all preparations are completed for upcoming shifts.
  • Aiding in the recruitment, training, and management of the outlet team.
  • Overseeing the bar team and hosting staff.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the local area, including its history, attractions, and events, and knowing where to obtain further information.

Candidate Profile

  • A driven and results-focused leader with experience in a dynamic restaurant and/or bar setting.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities with a profound understanding of guest expectations and needs.
  • Must possess extensive knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails, along with a passion for culinary trends and a commitment to sharing this knowledge with the team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while effectively prioritizing and delegating tasks.
