As a HGV Driver, you will play a crucial role in our operations, driving and operating a HGV RORO vehicle to collect waste from our sites and dispose of it at various tipping points.

Main Responsibilities

  • Drive and operate HGV vehicle in accordance with tachograph laws and regulations.
  • Pre-inspect the vehicle, reporting any defects in a timely manner for rectification.
  • Complete relevant paperwork as required by the business and legislation.
  • Maintain the vehicle in a clean and tidy condition, reporting any damage in line with company procedure.

Key Skills and Experience

  • HGV Driving Licence.
  • Driver CPC and Tachograph card.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work independently and under own initiative.
  • Competence in the English Language (speaking, reading, and writing) and basic arithmetic.
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills.
  • Flexible approach to work.
