What Skills and Experience We're Looking For

We're seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a teaching assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the teacher in delivering high-quality education to our pupils. Key skills and experience include:
  • Forming positive and caring relationships with children to motivate them to learn and grow
  • Demonstrating strategies to support emotional regulation
  • Supporting pupils to understand instructions and promote independent learning
  • Supervising and providing support for pupils, including those with special needs, to ensure their safety and access to learning activities
  • Showing initiative and being spontaneous in the classroom
  • Having knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Being a good team player who contributes to the school's ethos and wider community
  • Having a sense of humour, energy, and enthusiasm
  • Sharing our commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
  • Having experience of working in a school environment
