About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator / Coordinator to join our National Road Planning team based in RAND, Lincolnshire. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for ensuring the administrative elements of the department are processed in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist with organizing MOTs, servicing, and inspections for our fleet of vehicles
  • Ensure driver inductions, license checks, training records, and vehicle compliance are up to date and in accordance with company and legal requirements
  • Manage vehicle insurance, tax, toll charge systems, and the processing and day-to-day management of PCNs, fuel cards, driver contraventions, etc.
  • Maintain and reconcile fuel supplies internal and external, including fuel card management
  • Route planning for CAT2 special types
  • Ensure department compliance with the purchase ordering and goods received process to ensure accurate cost and utilization data is being managed
  • Assist with maintaining the company's FORS accreditation to silver standard
  • Production of internal and external reports and close monitoring of utilization - key measure
  • Contribute to the success of the Plant and Transport department, supporting other team members as required
The Ideal Candidate
  • Gain knowledge of all transport legal requirements
  • Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Good administrative, oral, and written communication skills, along with a strong ability of organizational skills for both reactive and proactive work
  • Computer literate with Microsoft and Excel competence - this is essential in this role
  • Good understanding of customer service expectations and excellent telephone manner
