Role Overview
As the Retail Operations Manager, you will foster a warm and inviting atmosphere while providing outstanding customer service and effective leadership. You will be instrumental in driving sales across the store, with the opportunity to earn a substantial bonus based on performance metrics, enjoy 33 days of annual leave, and benefit from ongoing professional development.
Your leadership will be pivotal in promoting the Whittard brand within the community, encouraging your team to deliver exceptional service that ensures customer loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering and guiding your team to provide exemplary customer service.
- Acting as a product ambassador, sharing in-depth knowledge and recommendations to enhance the customer journey.
- Tracking store performance indicators and implementing necessary enhancements.
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, cash handling, delivery, and reporting protocols.
- Overseeing team attendance, leave, and performance management.
- Building a high-performing team through succession planning, development strategies, regular reviews, and immediate feedback, while celebrating achievements to boost employee morale.
- Coordinating in-store visual merchandising in accordance with Whittard standards.
- Providing sales data and inventory insights to the head office.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in Retail Management or a Supervisory role.
- Proven track record in developing and leading high-performing teams, managing store operations, and driving sales growth.
- Strong organizational capabilities.
- Ability to identify challenges and propose effective solutions and improvements.
- Genuine enthusiasm and interest in our product offerings.
