About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Conveyancer to join our team at Hampton Hills Legal. As a Senior Conveyancer, you will play a key role in building and leading our conveyancing team, providing expert advice and guidance to clients, and ensuring the smooth execution of conveyancing transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Liaison: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing clear, professional advice on conveyancing matters.
  • Transaction Management: Oversee all aspects of the conveyancing process, including sales, purchases, transfers of equity, and remortgages, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Document Preparation: Draft and review contracts, title documents, and other legal paperwork using our case management systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all conveyancing transactions comply with relevant laws and regulations, including anti-money laundering requirements, and identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the property transaction, ensuring seamless communication and resolution of any issues.
  • Case Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and case progress using our case management system, ensuring efficient case management and reporting.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years PQE in conveyancing
  • Proven experience in handling caseloads and working with regulated and non-regulated colleagues
  • Strong knowledge of conveyancing laws and regulations, including anti-money laundering requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
