Main Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Planning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Transport Planning team, you will be responsible for preparing Transport Assessments and Transport Statements, developing and coordinating Travel Plans, and preparing and presenting technical data and drawings.

You will also conduct junction capacity assessments using ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG, liaise with clients, contractors, and local authorities as required, and ensure all assigned tasks/jobs are delivered on time and within budget.

In addition, you will check the quality and accuracy of work produced by junior team members, collaborate with the team and proactively support junior staff in developing their technical knowledge, and assist Team Leaders in providing comprehensive advice to clients on Highways & Transport matters.

Requirements:
  1. Degree in a relevant subject: Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering.
  2. 4+ years of experience with UK Transport Planning standards and processes.
  3. Membership in the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (MCIHT).
Technical Skills:
  1. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software packages.
  2. Strong numeracy skills, with a good understanding of spreadsheets.
  3. Proficiency in AutoCAD (desirable).
  4. Experience with ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG.
