About the Role

NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde is a leading healthcare provider, employing a diverse workforce of over 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical professions. As a Team Secretary - Business Support, you will be part of the Business Support Team within East Dunbartonshire HSCP, working closely with a multi-disciplinary team to provide administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Business Support Team, including responding to complex calls and emails.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication skills to interact with a wide range of personalities, particularly those in the over 65 care group.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the review and development of protocols and procedures for work areas.
  • Prioritize workload and exercise initiative to meet deadlines and deliver results.
Requirements
  • Experience gained within an office environment, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to relate to diverse personalities.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages and data input skills.
  • Previous NHS experience is desirable, but not essential.
