Orion Group is pleased to announce the recruitment of permanent Plater Fabricators for a significant energy construction initiative in Somerset.

Qualifications:
  • Level 3 Apprenticeship in Metal Fabrication
  • City & Guilds Level 3 in Welding Engineering Craft Studies or Fabrication & Welding
  • NVQ/SVQ Level 3 Diploma in Fabrication & Welding
  • Level 3 Diploma in Marine Engineering (Structural Steelwork)
  • Demonstrated experience in large-scale construction projects
  • A solid background in Nuclear Power (preferred)
  • Possession of a CCNSG Safety Passport and ideally IOSH Managing Safety Certification
Responsibilities:
Fabrication Shop Assembly, including cutting and finishing processes.

  • Familiarity with Quality Assurance protocols
Collaborating with the MEH Alliance to effectively deliver intricate piping and cabling systems.

  • Ensure that all work adheres to or surpasses contract specifications
