Warehouse Supervisor

At Taiko, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all warehouse operations to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Warehouse staff, ensuring duties are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Be responsible for all operations within the Warehouse, including staff training and staff absences.
  • Ensure all staff have adequate training for their roles and provide them with the necessary equipment.
  • Complete daily tasks and reports to relevant departments.
  • Be responsible for the quality of products transferred to production, ensuring they meet Taiko standards.
  • Check materials, packaging, and labels picked by the Warehouse team for accuracy and quantity.
  • Instruct and supervise the Warehouse team.
  • Report errors in picking or stock shortages in a timely manner.
  • Pick and deliver correct materials in the correct volume for additional orders.
  • Report problems concerning the Warehouse to Purchasing and Warehouse Manager.
  • Assist in arranging stock transfer from third-party warehouses in Purchasing and Warehouse Manager's absence.
  • Ensure the Warehouse team follows company rules and procedures.
  • Keep the Warehouse, picking room, vegetable chiller, and fish freezer tidy at all times.
  • Observe the goods-in procedure when receiving goods into the Warehouse.
  • Reduce overtime in the Warehouse team by assisting Purchasing and Warehouse Manager in arranging job duties efficiently.
  • Conduct re-training to individual staff who are not following correct procedures.
  • Monitor traceability through Navision and ensure the Warehouse team follows the correct procedure.
  • Check invoices and daily recording for approval by Purchasing and Warehouse Manager's absence.
  • Assist in Weekly and Monthly Stocktaking as the audit and compare figures in Navision/Its investigations to any discrepancies.
  • Ensure all Warehouse paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Assist other teams if requested by management.
  • Conduct daily checks of forklifts.
