Position Overview

We are seeking a Lead Architectural Technician to join our dynamic team at Hunter Dunning Limited. This role is pivotal in enhancing the performance and growth of our office, focusing on a diverse range of residential projects.

Key Responsibilities
As a Lead Architectural Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking an active role in mentoring and guiding team members to enhance their technical capabilities.
  • Securing necessary planning approvals and preparing tender documents in accordance with company protocols.
  • Collaborating with external consultants, contractors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Conducting site visits to monitor project progress and provide constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Utilizing your extensive knowledge of UK building regulations and industry standards.
  • Managing resources effectively to meet client expectations while adhering to budget constraints.

Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a UK architectural practice post-qualification.
  • A relevant degree in architectural technology.
  • A current CSCS card or the ability to obtain one promptly.
  • MCIAT accreditation or a commitment to achieving it.
  • Experience in managing projects from inception to completion, along with leading project teams.
  • A proven track record of fostering successful client relationships.
  • Experience in mentoring junior staff and aiding in their professional development.
