About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Operations Specialist to join our Production team at Medik8. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Line Setup and Maintenance: Prepare and set up production lines for operation, ensuring all equipment is correctly installed and ready for use.
  • Equipment Adjustments: Make necessary adjustments to equipment settings to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
  • Filling Checks and Adjustments: Perform routine checks and adjustments on filling machines to ensure accurate product filling.
  • Weigh Scale Tolerances and Checks: Regularly check and calibrate weigh scales to ensure compliance with specified tolerances and standards.
  • Removal and Reassembly of Parts: Disassemble and reassemble parts as required for cleaning and maintenance.
  • Video Jet Ink Setup: Set up video jet ink printing equipment for product labeling.
  • Daily and Visual PPMs: Conduct daily and visual maintenance checks to identify and address potential issues.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain production room equipment not included in the PPM schedule.
  • Pump Setup and Purging: Set up and purge pumps to ensure they are ready for production use.
  • Line Support: Assist the effective and efficient running of all production lines, providing technical support and troubleshooting as needed.
Requirements
  • Mechanical Background: A strong understanding of mechanical principles and practices.
  • Production Experience: Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Compliance and Regulation: Experience with compliance and regulation checks to meet industry standards.
  • GMP Experience: Experience working in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
