About the Role
As a Warehouse Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing a shift within our warehouse operations, ensuring seamless and efficient delivery of goods. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Leading and directing teams of warehouse personnel to achieve operational targets.
- Maintaining a safe and secure working environment for all employees.
- Implementing and upholding operational controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Developing and motivating colleagues, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Managing operational costs effectively to contribute to overall profitability.
- Supervising the activities of contractors working within the warehouse.
What We're Looking For
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Shift Manager or similar leadership position within a warehouse environment.
- Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- A sound understanding of financial principles and cost management.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining health and safety protocols within a warehouse setting.
