We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic academic to join our team as an Assistant Lecturer in Aerospace Control and Avionic Systems. The successful candidate will contribute to the teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering within our Aerospace Engineering programmes.
The successful candidate will be expected to deliver/revise existing modules and contribute strongly to the subsequent innovation of curriculum content in Aerospace Control and Avionic Systems. Other teaching assignments will include tutorials, and the supervision of group/individual project work.
The successful candidate will be expected to undertake new and original research (including the supervision of PhD students) in an area aligned to one or more of the Faculty of Engineering's Research Centres/Institutes/Groups, including the Power Electronics, Machines and Control (PEMC) Centre, the Nottingham Geospatial Institute (NGI), and the Mechanical and Aerospace Systems (MAS) Research Group.
