Position Overview
As a security guard at GUK, you will be integral to maintaining the safety and aesthetic of a modern facility. Your role encompasses nighttime security protocols, incident reporting, and potentially assisting the client’s front-of-house operations during daytime hours. You will oversee the premises, address any concerns, and contribute to outstanding customer service. Adaptability and collaboration are crucial, as you may be required to perform various tasks, including CCTV monitoring and supervising the security personnel.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in the security sector
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong verbal and listening abilities
- Capability to work independently
- Proficient report writing and IT skills
- Impeccable personal presentation and grooming standards
- Punctuality
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Valid SIA Security Guard or Door Supervisor License
- Valid SIA CCTV License (Preferred)
- Current First Aid at Work certification
- Current Mental Health First Aid at Work certification (Preferred)
- Valid Fire Marshal or Fire Warden Qualification
- ACT Awareness & ACT Security Certificate
- Customer Service Excellence or equivalent training
