Secondary Teacher - ASD Experienced Job Opportunity

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Secondary Teacher - ASD Experienced to join our team of professionals in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach relevant subjects to secondary students, focusing on ASD support and developing tailored educational programs to meet the specific needs of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with ASD in the classroom environment, adapting teaching methods and resources to support diverse learning needs.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere, promoting academic and personal success for students with ASD.
Requirements:
  • QTS or relevant degrees such as PGCE, NQT, or ECT qualifications are mandatory.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology or Education-related fields is essential.
  • Proven experience working as a Secondary Teacher - ASD Experienced or with children who have Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Strong understanding of ASD and strategies to support students effectively in a secondary school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
