Job Title: Systems Engineering Applications Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineering Applications Specialist to join our team at MBDA UK Ltd. As a key member of our Systems Engineering and Design Capability (SE&DC) department, you will play a critical role in supporting projects through established model-based systems engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with multiple partners, including software application suppliers, MBDA's IM organisation, MBDA security, and the wider SE&DC team, to provide continuity of service across the systems engineering applications.
  • Manage the software applications that fall within SE&DC's remit to manage, working closely with the IM organisation.
  • Provide liaison between the user community and technical support (IM), ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.
  • Experience in thick client version management, managing upgrade programmes, packaging new software, security vulnerability management, bug assessment, and patching is desirable.
  • Experience in the IBM engineering toolset (Rhapsody, DOORS Classic, IBM ELM) is also desirable, but on-the-job training will be provided to the successful candidate.
