We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our Manufacturing Plant maintenance team in Flintshire, UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee electrical and mechanical maintenance, as well as testing of all equipment on site, including electrical equipment, mechanical equipment, pneumatic control systems, and ATEX equipment.
  • Ensure the correct installation, testing, and documentation of Safety Instrument Systems.
  • Assist with on-site management of contractors, including inductions and audits.
  • Actively participate in project work from conception to commissioning.
  • Maintain and update asset integrity program procedures.
  • Utilize SAP CMMS for accurate recording and completion of maintenance activities.
  • Support the Maintenance Manager by managing workshop and stores, including sourcing and maintaining stock levels, planning and prioritizing work schedules, and implementing 5S procedures.

Requirements

  • HNC/NVQ Level 3 (equivalent) in Maintenance/Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Knowledge of 18th Edition wiring regulations.
  • Confined Space Entry Trained (Low Risk minimum).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and P&ID diagrams.
  • Familiarity with working with hazardous chemicals (advantageous).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CAD abilities, and the ability to quickly learn new software.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Ideal CompEx (Ex05-06) certification or knowledge of ATEX.
