Job Overview

Home Instead Fareham & Gosport is on the lookout for dedicated and empathetic Care Assistants to join our expanding team. Our mission is to provide exceptional support to adults living independently at home, catering to a variety of needs in the Fareham area and its surroundings.

We are currently offering both Full-Time and Part-Time positions for morning care assistants, with shifts commencing at 8am. We welcome applications from individuals with prior experience in Domiciliary Care, as well as those new to the field, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster meaningful relationships with clients, providing companionship and care during morning visits.
  • Create a warm and inviting home environment by assisting with light household duties and meal preparation.
  • Support clients in relaxing and getting ready for their day.
  • Engage clients in enjoyable activities such as reading, games, or community outings.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with clients and their families to ensure high-quality care and reassurance.

Requirements:

  • No prior experience necessary; thorough in-house training and assessment will be provided.
  • Proficient written and spoken English skills.
  • Reliable transportation for home visits, errands, and outings.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • A naturally caring and friendly disposition, with the ability to establish positive relationships with clients and their families.
  • Must be a UK resident with a full UK driving license and personal transportation.
  • Candidates must be 18 years or older.
