About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust as a Housekeeper. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dialysis unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to trained healthcare staff in delivering high-quality patient care
  • Ensure the dialysis unit is clean and well-maintained, and that all medical equipment is in good working order
  • Liaise with domestic supervisors and staff to ensure cleaning and maintenance standards are met
  • Assist with the efficient running of the service, including ordering and stock control
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement work by undertaking audits and providing feedback

  • GCSE level or equivalent qualifications
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualifications
  • Experience of working in an acute healthcare setting
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience of ordering and stock control
