About the Role

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in management reporting, including variance analysis and commentary, for use in management meetings and Board packs. You will also be responsible for tracking and reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management reports, including variance analysis and commentary, for management meetings and Board packs
  • Track and report on KPIs and projects as needed
  • Budgeting: Prepare forecasts, budgets, 5-year plans, and short-term cash forecasts
  • Projects: Generate ad-hoc reports to support business projects and initiatives
  • Collaboration: Attend regular meetings with key stakeholders to present and review business performance
  • Financial Accounting Support: Assist the Financial Accounting team with year-end reporting, audit liaison, tax compliance, transfer pricing/intercompany policies, and VAT recovery

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or QBE equivalent)
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, plus excellent attention to detail
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Self-starter, able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets
  • Commutable distance to the office location
  • Advanced analytical skills with the capability to delve into details while understanding the big picture
  • Ability to meet tight business deadlines independently
  • Confident and articulate, comfortable dealing with financial and non-financial stakeholders at various company levels
