Our Lifting Engineers engage in various projects throughout the UK, necessitating a willingness to travel regularly (Monday to Friday) and adapt to different locations.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Lifting Engineer with BES Heavy Lifting Solutions, you will deliver independent and unbiased guidance during both the planning and execution stages of projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Comprehending project specifications while maintaining the highest standards of Health and Safety.
  • Utilizing AutoCAD for the planning and management of complex lifting tasks.
  • Collaborating with your project team to ensure adherence to established operational protocols.
  • Communicating with Project Managers to keep them informed of progress.
  • Evaluating all incoming projects to identify potential issues before commencement.
  • Employing our reporting software to accurately document all necessary information.
  • Consistently delivering outstanding customer service while representing our esteemed company with professionalism.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive starting salary from £55,000, depending on experience and location.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in the lifting sector.
  • Extensive experience in planning and managing complex lifting operations using CAD.
  • Familiarity with crane and rigging/fleeting operations.
  • A Mechanical Engineering qualification, ideally HNC or higher.
  • A valid Appointed Person (Lifting Operations) – CPCS Blue Card is essential.
  • CIBT Construction Skills HS&E certification.
  • NPORS Rigging and Lifting or Rigging and Fleeting certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • NEBOSH or IOSH qualifications are highly regarded.
  • A flexible work approach, with the ability to travel, work overtime, and cover additional workloads during peak periods.
  • A full driving license.
