Consultant Psychiatrist Community Adult Eating Disorders Specialist

Join NELFT NHS Foundation Trust as a Consultant Psychiatrist in our Community Adult Eating Disorders service. We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality care to patients with eating disorders across all ages.
About the Role:This is a substantive, full-time post with 10 Programmed Activities (DCC:SPA). You will work alongside another Adult Consultant Psychiatrist, CAMHS Consultants, Paediatrician, and CAMHS Specialty Doctor within the service. The post is based at The Courtyard, Pudding Lane, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 1PA.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide senior medical support to the team and direct input on clinical cases.
- Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to provide care to patients with eating disorders across all ages.
- Develop links with local acute trusts' A&E departments and inpatient wards to continually improve our services.
- Be responsible for patients allocated to them and assess, manage, plan, and deliver care.
- Support peers and team leader and be an effective team member while working on their own initiative and supervising junior colleagues.
- CCT or equivalent.
- Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it. Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it. Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST.
