Venatu Recruitment Group is currently on the lookout for a qualified mechanic with an MOT certification. This position involves working within a dealership that is part of a well-established public limited company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections, maintenance, servicing, and repairs of vehicles to ensure they meet road safety and reliability standards as per DVSA regulations.
- Perform retail service tasks and manage stock maintenance as part of daily responsibilities.
- Repair and maintain vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and schedules.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues effectively.
- Carry out MOT tests in compliance with VOSA standards and complete all necessary documentation.
- Maintain accurate job cards, maintenance records, and associated paperwork to a high standard.
Qualifications Required:
- Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent in Automotive Engineering.
- Valid MOT tester certification.
- Extensive experience in a mechanic role.
