Position Overview

As a GNSS Systems Engineer, you will spearhead the creation of cutting-edge RF system-level testing methodologies and validation strategies. Your extensive knowledge will play a pivotal role in guaranteeing the quality and dependability of our offerings. Your keen eye for detail will be essential in driving our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize hardware simulation and laboratory evaluations to confirm our designs and configurations.
  • Implement hardware-in-the-loop testing to enhance system functionality.
  • Conduct field assessments to test our products in practical settings, delivering vital insights for design improvements to fulfill client requirements.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Geomatics, Aerospace, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficient understanding of RF testing and system-level testing techniques.
  • Experience in hardware simulation, laboratory assessments, and field evaluations.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with GPS/GNSS technologies.
  • Knowledge of GNSS Interface Control Documents (ICD) and data formats such as RINEX, sp3, and NMEA.
  • Experience with Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite signals in navigation applications.
  • Expertise in innovative GNSS simulation and receiver validation.
  • Understanding of modeling jamming, interference, and multipath conditions.
  • Familiarity with Software Defined Radios (SDRs), GNU Radio, and GNSS Software Defined Radio.
  • Programming proficiency in Python, C++, and Matlab.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Self-motivated with a strong commitment to quality.
  • Experience collaborating with space agencies in the UK and Europe.
  • Eligibility for security clearance.
