Job Summary:
Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join their team. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a crucial part in exciting projects, working closely with the Commercial Manager to complete quantity take-offs, prepare tenders, analyse and compare supplier quotes, negotiate pricing, and prepare detailed cost estimates.
The Role:
- Estimating and Controlling Costs: You will be responsible for estimating and controlling costs for various projects, ensuring that the company's financial goals are met.
- Procuring Materials: You will procure materials and supplies necessary for projects, working closely with suppliers to negotiate prices and delivery schedules.
- Preparing Bill of Quants and Budgets: You will prepare detailed Bill of Quants and budgets for projects, ensuring that all costs are accurately accounted for.
- Collaboration with the Commercial Manager: You will work closely with the Commercial Manager to ensure that all estimating and cost control activities are aligned with the company's overall business strategy.
The Ideal Candidate:
- 5 Years of Estimating Experience: You will have at least 5 years of experience in estimating and cost control within the construction industry.
- Knowledge of Facades Projects: You will have knowledge of working on facades projects or for a facades contractor, with a strong understanding of the industry's best practices.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills: You will possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and clients.
- Driving License: You will have a valid driving license, with the ability to commute to the office.
