Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire and Security Service Engineer to join our team at Marlowe Fire and Security. As a Fire and Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing fire and security systems in accordance with current standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain fire and security systems in your assigned area to ensure they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Respond to service calls on all types of fire and security systems in a timely and professional manner.
  • Plan and respond to routine and reactive call visits in your area to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Maintain stock levels with support from the Stores team to ensure all necessary materials are available.
  • Attend training sessions as required to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques.
  • Attend engineering team meetings as required to discuss ongoing projects and share knowledge.
  • Identify personal training and development needs to provide the best possible customer service.
Our Systems:

We work with a range of fire and security systems, including:

  • Fire systems: Gent, Notifier, Kentec, Ziton, Advanced, Morley, C-Tec, Protec
  • Intruder systems: Galaxy, Texecom, Scantronic, Menvier, Risco
  • CCTV systems: Hikvision, Dahua, Bosch, Generic Analogue Systems
  • Access control systems: Paxton, PAC, Salto
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A technical background in the electrical/electronic industry
  • Good all-round knowledge of fire and security systems
  • Experience of front-line customer contact preferred
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • A professional and presentable demeanor at all times
  • The ability to deliver exceptional customer service
  • ACE - Attitude, Commitment & Effort - the key to progression
