Neilson Recruitment is representing a prominent supplier of architectural solutions, including gratings, louvred panels, flooring, and fencing, seeking a proficient Sales Estimator to enhance their team in Edinburgh.

Position Overview

In the role of Sales Estimator, you will be instrumental in securing contracts by delivering technical insights, guiding design enhancements, and performing estimations based on tender documents and architectural drawings. You will serve as the primary liaison for contractors and architects, ensuring exceptional customer service and fostering robust relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Address inquiries from contractors and architects, offering technical guidance and support.
  • Conduct estimations from tender documents and drawings to secure contracts.
  • Engage in negotiations and collaborate with customers, suppliers, and contractors to secure orders.
  • Provide pricing and lead time quotations in response to inquiries.
  • Deliver product and technical information to clients.
  • Maintain records and track ongoing inquiries using a CRM system.
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients.
Requirements
  • A degree or equivalent experience in architecture, engineering, or construction.
  • Capability to effectively manage and prioritize a busy workload.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a professional telephone demeanor.
  • Proficiency in interpreting architectural drawings and technical specifications.
  • Strong skills in Windows applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and basic CAD knowledge.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
  • A valid driving license.
