Job Title: Apprentice Gas Engineer

CV Library is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established heating contractor operating within the local authority sector.

About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified domestic gas engineer to cover the SA postcode area, carrying out maintenance and repairs within domestic social housing properties on a local housing association contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Annual Gas Safety Checks (LGSR)
  2. Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems
  3. Following all Health & Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records
  4. Full UK Driving Licence
  5. No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment)
  6. Overtime paid at time and a half door to door
  7. Additional overtime and weekend work available at enhanced rates
  8. Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided
  9. Salary: £36,000 rising to £38,000 per annum after probation
  10. Monthly bonus up to £
  11. Out of hours call out rota 1 week in 4 paid at £
  12. 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
  13. Pension Scheme
