Job Summary

Ignata Finance, a leading recruitment agency, is partnering with a forward-thinking business in Brighton to find a highly skilled Finance Analyst. This exciting opportunity will allow you to support the Financial Controller and develop your skills in finance business partnering, reporting, and systems improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the finance team to provide financial insights and support business growth.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly management accounts and KPI analysis.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to ensure alignment with business strategy.
  • Conduct financial and commercial analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with financial statement preparation, including balance sheet and income statement analysis.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, including foreign exchange and VAT returns.
  • Implement process improvements and maintain a strong control environment.
  • Support finance projects, including system implementations and upgrades.

Requirements

  • Part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent) with strong technical accounting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Ability to create commercial and insightful analysis to inform business decisions.
