We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team in East Sussex. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and service of a wide range of vehicles.

Our ideal candidate will have a relevant formal qualification and possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to colleagues and customers in a clear and concise manner.

The successful candidate will be passionate about the industry and committed to developing their technical knowledge and skills. They will be customer-focused, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking the timely repair and servicing of customer vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards.
  • Conducting full examinations of vehicles and identifying non-routine defects or additional faults.
  • Undertaking Electronic Vehicle Health Checks and Video Health Checks.
  • Undertaking vehicle road testing for diagnosis and to test repairs.
  • Working closely with the service team to ensure they are informed of work progress and briefed on completed work.
  • Providing a knowledgeable, courteous, responsive, and efficient service to all workshop customers.
  • Obtaining appropriate authorisation for additional work on vehicles.
  • Building and maintaining a high level of technical competence for diagnosing and servicing vehicles.
