Home Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Home Manager to join our family-run care home in Enfield, providing residential and dementia care for older adults.

Our care home is dedicated to providing exceptional care in a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment. We strive for excellence in all aspects of care, activities, and dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strong leadership and direction to the care home staff, fostering a positive working environment and a culture of teamwork.
  • Maintain good relationships with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), working towards achieving an Outstanding rating.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Experience of managing homes with at least 45 beds, with a good track record of successfully leading teams to achieve good CQC reports.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff daily, setting clear goals and boundaries.
  • Competence in using electronic systems for care planning, medication, and HR management.
  • Strong commercial acumen, focusing on achieving good occupancy levels and maintaining a good reputation locally.
  • Nurse-qualified manager or clinical Deputy Manager with a passion for improving the lives of others and an ability to communicate at all levels.
