About the Role

As a Distribution Site Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client sites. You'll be responsible for carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across multiple locations, acting as the first point of contact for all technical issues.

Your Responsibilities

  • Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules within agreed timeframes, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Respond promptly to service requests from our Helpdesk, assessing the situation and carrying out repairs as needed.
  • Prioritize maintenance and repair tasks to meet deadlines and response times.
  • Deliver reactive and planned fire alarm system maintenance.
  • Conduct emergency lighting tests and repairs.
  • Follow established purchase order processes.
  • Identify non-repairable faults in equipment and promptly inform your Line Manager, providing recommendations for replacements.
  • Maintain compliance documentation, ensuring it is always current.
  • Communicate any repair or maintenance issues to on-site customers that may affect site operations.
  • Conduct surveys and prepare reports as required by City management.
  • Carry out minor alterations and installations within your technical expertise, adhering to current specifications.
  • Perform general repairs and maintenance at customer sites as directed by City management.
  • Participate in training courses to stay abreast of technical advancements and maintain your skills.
  • Adhere to the company's Health and Safety Policy at all times.
  • Represent the company professionally, fostering strong working relationships with City colleagues and clients.
