About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Millbank Holdings, a leading company in the chemical industry. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and optimization of our Hydrogen production reactor and system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our Engineering Director, CTO, and other engineers to develop and test concepts for the microwave reactor and other key sub-systems.
  • Create general assembly drawings for the client reactor and balance of plant sub-systems, integrating supplier drawings into files.
  • Perform mechanical stress calculations to ensure correct specifications.
  • Manage client technicians to help with mechanical fitting of components, generating work instructions.
  • Support other staff in running equipment, including fault finding, datalogger analysis, and evaluation of system performance.
  • Assist the engineering team in designing, specifying, and sourcing components for Hydrogen generators.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or HNC/HND qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an engineering design environment.
  • Experience in relevant software packages for drawings creation and management, such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
