Specialty Doctor in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Specialty Doctor to join our specialist CAMHS team in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality care to young people.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care to children and adolescents until their 18th birthday.
  • Work closely with the team to provide NICE-recommended interventions and treatments.
  • Participate in the Out of Hours on-call rota alongside other Consultant and Specialty Doctor colleagues.
  • Offer of attendance to management courses organized within CNWL.
  • One-to-one supervision with a Consultant.
  • Participation in local CPD activities.
Requirements
  • Three years of experience in psychiatry, with at least six months in child and adolescent psychiatry.
  • Further experience in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Experience of managing complex cases in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Experience in risk assessment.
