AV Installation Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AV Installation Engineer to join our team at Unified Support Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, testing, and installing audio-visual equipment for various job sites and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, test, and install audio-visual equipment for job sites and clients
  • Communicate with customers and site contacts to ensure successful project delivery
  • Adhere to site rules, procedures, and health and safety protocols
  • Configure and perform diagnostics on videoconferencing codecs and AV hardware
  • Fault find and test audio-visual equipment
  • Prepare installation documentation and ensure sufficient stock levels of consumables and materials
  • Submit timesheets and expenses, and continue with personal development plan and applicable training
Requirements:
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Ability to work onsite 90% of the time, with occasional in-office work
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with audio-visual equipment installation and configuration
  • Knowledge of health and safety protocols and procedures
