We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Trainee Heating Engineer to join our team at Good Energy. As a Trainee Heating Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the installation of Air Source Heating solutions in our customers' homes.
Key Responsibilities- Support Heating Installation Engineers in the installation of Air Source Heating solutions
- Assist in running pipework, hanging radiators, and delivering quality technical expertise to install our products
- Collaborate with electrical engineers to ensure customers' heating systems are installed safely, on time, and to a high standard of workmanship
- A current UK driving licence with access to a vehicle for work purposes
- NVQ Level 2 in Domestic Plumbing and Heating or similar qualification
- Happy to travel and stay overnight when required
- Previous installation experience, including hanging and connecting radiators
- Knowledge of air source heat pumps
- NVQ level 3 in Plumbing and Heating
- Unvented Hot Water Storage Certificate (G3 requirement)
- £350 annual allowance to support with any costs associated with our higher-risk roles
- 25 days holiday and bank holidays, rising to 29 with long service recognition
- 5% annual bonus: company-wide bonus scheme designed to reward collective teamwork and delivery of results across the whole business
- Expensed travel for trainees
- £500 annual development allowance for personalised development, plus in-house and externally funded training
