As a key member of our laundry and sewing room team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality linen to our hospitals across the Highlands and Islands. Your expertise in operating sewing machines, adjusting uniform dimensions, and repairing will be essential in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the laundry and sewing room operations to meet the demands of our hospitals.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality linen, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with the laundry department manager to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

Requirements:
