POSITION TITLE: Flight Simulator Maintenance Specialist
OBJECTIVE:
The Flight Simulator Maintenance Specialist plays a crucial role in the upkeep and repair of flight training devices, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and organizational protocols. This position may also involve implementing modifications and enhancements to optimize simulator functionality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, operate, and maintain simulator systems and components
- Execute customer configuration adjustments and verify operational integrity
- Diagnose and rectify issues with electrical and hydraulic systems
- Oversee equipment performance and ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Complete scheduled segments of the Qualification Test Guide
- Advise on parts and materials necessary for simulator repairs
REQUIREMENTS:
- Preferred Level 5 or higher qualification in electronics
- At least 3 years of experience in electronics technology, avionics, or a related discipline
COMPENSATION:
Competitive salary range between £32,000 - £41,000
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
