We are in search of a committed Mechanical Operations Supervisor to become a vital part of our team at HMP Whitemoor, a high-security men's correctional facility.

In your role as a Mechanical Operations Supervisor, you will collaborate with a diverse group of skilled professionals, including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all united in their commitment to fostering a safe and secure environment.

We are a Ministry of Justice entity, delivering essential and time-sensitive services to HMPPS, and are seeking a Mechanical Operations Supervisor with a combination of the following qualifications:- Minimum of five years' experience in plumbing or a related field
- Proficient in Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 standards
- Experience in commercial or industrial heating, water, or building services systems
- Proven experience in supervising personnel
- Qualified as a Plumber with C&G 6035 (Plumbing), C&G 6189 (Plumbing and Heating), and NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent
- Current First Aid at Work Certification
- Desirable qualifications include relevant professional certifications in facilities management or project management
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
