We are seeking an experienced AV Installation Engineer to join our team at JLB Recruitment Ltd. As an AV Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality Audio Visual installation services to our clients in the Corporate, Health, and Education sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, integrate, and configure AV technologies to meet project requirements
  • Manage installations and projects on-site to ensure timely completion and high-quality results
  • Cable running and management within trays, trunking, and baskets
  • Cable termination and testing
  • Site surveys to assess and manage AV equipment safety and effectiveness
  • AV commissioning and fault finding
  • Rack building and maintenance visits
  • Perform duties in line with our company's quality standards
  • Responsible for on-site health and safety
Requirements:
  • Good communication skills at all levels
  • Understanding of technical designs and schematics
  • Attention to detail and desire to learn and develop AV skills and knowledge
  • Well-organized and good time-keeping
  • Soldering, crimping, and terminating skills
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of control systems, such as Crestron and Extron
  • Experience with various AV equipment
  • Understanding of digital and analogue audio and video signals
  • Knowledge of digital signals, EDID, and switching
  • Knowledge of digital sound processors (DSP)
