About the Role

Giacom is seeking a highly skilled Group Finance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the Group's financial reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of consolidated management reports and statutory compliance.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in group consolidations and consolidated reporting, with a strong understanding of IFRS. You will be a strategic thinker, able to develop and implement financial frameworks and processes that drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial reporting processes and frameworks to ensure timely and accurate delivery of consolidated management reports and statutory compliance.
  • Manage and oversee the Group's financial reporting processes, including ownership of annual statutory compliance processes at consolidated and subsidiary level.
  • Develop and maintain the Group's technical accounting framework, including the IFRS Group Accounting Manual and monitoring procedures.
  • Support the ongoing development of the Group's new NetSuite system, taking responsibility for the systemization and automation of key Group processes and controls.
  • Ensure robust processes are in place to ensure timely, effective compliance with all covenant and reporting requirements associated with the Group's financing.
  • Develop and maintain the Group's short-term liquidity forecasting and reporting processes.
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant with significant PQE, including meaningful experience of group consolidations and consolidated reporting.
  • Strong IFRS knowledge and experience.
  • High attention to detail, comfortable working with large quantities of raw data.
  • Ability to work autonomously, managing own workload to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Good communicator, able to build and develop effective relationships in a predominantly remote working environment.
  • Experienced people manager, comfortable setting objectives and managing team priorities.
