Job Summary

Mammoet Offshore Services is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for the setup, installation, operation, and maintenance of our specialized equipment, including strand jacks, hydraulic power units, and weighing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unpacking, setup, installation, operation, and maintenance of Mammoet Offshore Services equipment
  • Wiring and testing of electrical systems, including new installations and refurbishments
  • Repair and fault finding of electrical systems
  • Rigging and general lifting of equipment
  • Support packing and unpacking of containers in accordance with detailed packing lists
  • Complete post-operation equipment maintenance checks
  • Maintenance, preparation, and packing of equipment in the Middlesbrough yard in readiness for mobilization to a project
  • Travel to a wide range of project sites worldwide, both onshore and offshore
Requirements
  • Electrical City & Guilds, ONC, NVQ Level 3 or similar qualification
  • Working with low voltage and ELV systems and experience with their applications
  • Ability to wire and test electrical systems, read and understand electrical schematics, troubleshooting, and fault finding
  • Willing and capable to learn operation and maintenance of Mammoet's specialist equipment
  • Willing to travel and work within and outside of the UK for extensive periods, including some offshore working
  • Current valid driving license
  • Current valid passport (no restrictions)
