About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lecturer in Animal Management to join our team at Shuttleworth College, a specialist land-based college within The Bedford College Group. As a Lecturer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education to our students, empowering them to excel in their studies and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and informative lectures to groups of students, utilizing your expertise in animal management to provide a comprehensive learning experience.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching methods, ensuring that our education remains cutting-edge and relevant to the industry.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, working collaboratively with colleagues to design and deliver programs that meet the needs of our students and the industry.
  • Participate in marketing and promotion activities, supporting the growth and development of our programs and services.
  • Work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve team objectives and meet deadlines.
Requirements
  • Recognized Teacher Qualification (PGCE, CertEd, QTS) or willingness to attain.
  • Degree Level Qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent (e.g., HND).
  • Good standard of General Education to include Maths and English at Level 2.
