Job Title: Consultant Cardiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Cardiologist to join our team at the NHS. As a Consultant Cardiologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading the development of cardiovascular services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in cardiology and a passion for delivering excellent patient care. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with cardiovascular conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and lead the development of cardiovascular services
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with cardiovascular conditions
  • Develop and implement clinical guidelines and protocols to improve patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the education and training of junior medical staff
  • Participate in clinical audit and quality improvement activities
Requirements
  • Primary Medical Qualification
  • GMC full registration
  • CCT or equivalent
  • MRCP or equivalent
  • CCT in Cardiology
  • Completed and signed off sub-specialty training curriculum Heart failure and imaging
  • British Society of Echocardiography Accreditation or equivalent
