Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Intervention Teacher to join our team at Aspire People. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality teaching and support to pupils who require additional help with Phonics, English, and Reading.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Identify students who require additional support and develop targeted intervention programs to help them improve their skills.
  2. Work closely with classroom teachers, parents, and other staff to ensure that all students have the opportunity to succeed.
  3. Assess student levels and collaborate with class teachers to identify learning gaps and integrate this information into lesson plans.
  4. Design and implement effective intervention programs that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  5. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
  1. Qualified teacher status with a strong background in supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and 2.
  2. Experience in assessing student levels and collaborating with class teachers to identify learning gaps.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  4. Flexibility and availability to work on a daily supply basis, with the option to take on long-term contracts.
  5. An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
