Job Title: Asset Drainage Engineer

Location: London and the South East

Salary: £18.50 per hour + Overtime

Job Overview:

First Military Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Drainage Engineer to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar environment and a current full driving license.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out a range of services including cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of our customer's drains.
  2. Review job tasks and identify tools, plants, and materials.
  3. Undertake risk assessment of site/works.
  4. Liaise directly with customers and site contacts.
  5. Record and feedback works undertaken, issues, and any further works required.
  6. Delegate tasks to other team members.
  7. Report near misses and accidents as soon as possible.
  8. Report vehicle and plant defects to supervisor/management.

Requirements:

  1. Prior experience of working in a similar environment.
  2. Current full driving license.
  3. HPWJ experience required.
  4. Enthusiastic, driven, and customer-facing.
  5. Able to work on own and as part of a team.
  6. Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills.
  7. Experience in either Drainage, CCTV Drainage, or Lining & Patching engineering.
  8. Confined Space experience.
