Residential Conveyancer / Fee-Earning Specialist

Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 per annum
Commission: Up to £5,000 annually

Work Arrangement: Remote

Company Type: In-house

We are seeking skilled Conveyancers to become part of a reputable Newcastle-based firm, offering a permanent remote working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities of the Conveyancer / Fee Earner:
  • Facilitating conveyancing auction transactions from initiation to completion within specified timelines.
  • Handling a diverse array of transactions, including repossessions, probate matters, and cases involving overseas investors.
  • Overseeing a team of two conveyancing assistants who will aid in managing your caseload.
  • Drafting necessary legal documents for both property purchases and sales.
  • Reviewing land registry documents and title deeds for unregistered properties.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service with timely updates via phone and email.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • A minimum of 12 months of conveyancing experience.
  • Possession of a conveyancing qualification, CILEX certification, or substantial experience in residential conveyancing.
  • Familiarity with unregistered properties and conducting title checks on leasehold.
  • Experience managing a high-volume caseload exceeding 60 files.
