Energy and Sustainability Manager

A leading public sector organization in Kent County is seeking a dedicated Energy and Sustainability Manager to join their team. If you are passionate about driving operational and environmental performance, this opportunity is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy for the organization's estate
- Manage energy consumption and relationships with external partners to optimize performance
- Provide technical advice on energy efficiency and sustainability best practices
- Monitor compliance with sustainability regulations and standards
- Guide energy projects to maximize impact and achieve long-term sustainability goals
- Conduct thorough sustainability assessments and recommend improvements to reduce environmental footprint
- Focus on delivering exceptional customer service and stakeholder engagement
Required Qualifications:
- Level 4 qualification in energy and sustainability or a related field
- Relevant energy efficiency credentials and certifications
- Professional membership in a relevant organization or industry association
Desirable Experience:
- Proven experience in energy management and sustainability initiatives
- Experience in developing and implementing sustainability strategies
- Knowledge of building management systems and energy efficiency technologies
- Experience working in a collaborative and dynamic team environment
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Ability to conduct energy surveys and assessments
- Proficient in interpreting energy data and sustainability metrics
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
