Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Technical Coordinator to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a Technical Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in coordinating key information, working drawing packages, and ensuring the successful delivery of residential developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage site activities from design stage to post-completion, in line with delivery programs.
  • Undertake key aspects of the Principal Designer role, as defined within the Construction Design & Management Regulation 2015.
  • Complete all necessary Health, Safety & Environmental documents, in line with group policy.
  • Coordinate delivery of surveys & reports required for development and manage associated requirements from design to completion.
  • Manage the process of obtaining consultant fee proposals and formal appointment documents, in accordance with group procedures.
  • Undertake value engineering assessments and ensure buildability.
  • Coordinate submission of designs where necessary.
  • Assist in production of Sales brochures, legal and sales handover meetings.
  • Provide information for Housing Association contracts and attendance of progress meetings.
  • Coordinate consultants to deliver house type working drawing packs and liaise with key suppliers to provide ancillary drawing information for tender, construction, and sales packs.
  • Prepare all drawings and documents for superstructure elements for tender, followed by the construction issue and sales handover.
  • Coordinate the accuracy of information supplied by all departments to ensure no discrepancies.
  • Submit all information to building control and warranty providers and obtain approval of same, obtaining SAP/HEM Assessments together with PEA' and EPC's, Secured by Design Approval and Robust Standard Details.
  • Obtain and collate all ancillary specialist drawings, including hot water supply, heating, kitchen, stair, lintels, p.c. ground floors, and precast upper floors.
  • Attend and chair Pre-Start Meetings and brief all departments on matters related to the engineering and working drawings.
  • Coordinate information and liaise with architects, civil and structural engineers, and landscape architects, ensuring consistency between various designs.
  • Assist the Land, Planning & Development teams with advice during the land acquisition stage and assist in the information to discharge of planning conditions.
  • Monitor and report technical & development fees, including S106 obligations.
  • Resolve all technical related queries, including conducting site visits as required.
